I can’t even write about this without getting duck skin.  Hue-Man will host the legendary superstar Dionne Warwick in Harlem.  Dionne Warwick helped define an entire generation of baby boomers…self included…yes I grooved, slow dance, and cried to Trains and Boats and Planes, What the World Needs Now, Do you know the Way to San Jose and yes my personal favorite No Night so Long…so the deal is Dionne will be presenting her children’s picture book Say A Little Prayer–a book that will inspire young people to “find” their best talent in life and to embrace it.  Comes with CD reading of the book by Dionne and a special recording of Jesus Loves Me…

Okay! Okay! He is coming back.  We had such an amazing event with T.D. Jakes in Harlem last year that he is coming back…but I am telling you now the tickets will be sold out soon after you receive this e-mail for his September 23 event at Aaron Davis Hall.   As usual the tickets will be pre-sold only by Hue-Man on a first come first serve basis.  I had people gnashing their teeth at me last time for not knowing that T.D. Jakes would be here so here it is.  This event will be held at the Aaron Davis Hall and seats are far more limited than the Apollo. Tickets go on sale Monday.  T.D. Jakes new book turns his attention and teachings to the topic of relationships.
