Harlem World: Do you think Bill Thompson has a chance of becoming Mayor of New York? Why or why not?

Vanessa: I can’t answer that because I am not familiar with Bill Thompson.

HW: How do you feel about the President Obama and Governor Patterson situation?

V: Shame, shame on you (Barack). I am not fond of the comments, but everyone has their own opinions. You don’t have to agree but have respect.

Harlem World: What are the hottest fashion trends you have noticed for the fall?

DeNorval: I haven’t noticed too many styles that I like. I just like jeans.

HW: Do you wear urban designers? Why or why not?

D: No, I am not into designers, because I am not into making other people rich.

HW: What are your opinions about guys wearing skinny jeans?

D: I don’t think anything is wrong with them as long as they are not too sexual or too graphic.

Brendan

Harlem World: What are the hottest trends you have noticed for the fall?

Brendan: I like tailored clothing; jackets to the waist. Grays and blacks are in.

HW: Do you wear urban designers? Why or why not?

B: No, they really don’t appeal to me.

HW: What are your opinions about guys wearing skinny jeans?

B: I am not really a fan of them. It takes a specific body type to wear them, and most guys don’t have that. I recommend straight or boot-cut jeans for guys.

Jolene

Jolene: Yes, he is smart as far as I’ve heard.

HW: How do you feel about the President Obama and Governor Patterson situation?

J: I haven’t heard a lot about that.

Shannon

Harlem World: Do you think Bill Thompson has a chance of winning Mayor of New York? Why or why not?

Shannon: Who’s that?

HW: How do you feel about the President Obama and Governor Patterson situation?

S: I think they are blowing it out of proportion. If Obama needs to speak on it, that is his choice. He is the President of the United States for Christ sake.
