celebrating art, activism, social justice   and a sneak peek of our new Art for Change gallery   When: Friday, November 6, 2009   7:00 PM to 12:00 AM Where: Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center 1680 Lexington Ave (between 105 and 106 Sts) New York, NY 10029   Art for Change is putting together an amazing concert this Friday night in order to raise funds to open up a gallery. Our community has lost about five art organizations and or art galleries in the past four years. It’s crazy! Our vision is to build a gallery truly supported by-the-people and for-the-people. Help us make it happen! Dance in order to open up a gallery.   The all inclusive tickets are very affordable (live music by Maracatu NY, Slavic Soul Party, San Juan Hill with an open bar, DJ and fantastic art auction). In fact, you’ll probably spend more money if you select to go somewhere else that evening. WE STILL HAVE TICKETS AVAILABLE AT $20 IF YOU BUY ONELINE!!! Tell your friends. THIS IS A BIG ONE!!!!!
