Harlem Crazy Stabs 3

An active police search was underway in Harlem.  Police said three people were stabbed, at random. Two of the victims, ages 26 and 48, were attacked at Lexington Avenue and 125th Street and rushed to Harlem Hospital.

Another was stabbed several blocks away, on East 120th Street and Fifth Avenue.

Over 4,000 Heart Tests Unread By Harlem Hospital

At least one doctor has been fired after officials discovered that 4,000 echocardiogram tests were never read by doctors making a diagnosis at Harlem Hospital. The tests span about three years, and the results had been stored on a hospital computer and essentially forgotten. Reassuring! Continue reading

On Thursday May 20, 2010, Sammy Davis Vintage presented a fashion show in the crowded midtown bar/lounge Katwalk (how appropriately named for the event).  Sammy Davis Vintage is a Harlem-based boutique geared towards making vintage fashion more accessible for the contemporary girl.

Sammy Davis worked with event planners Cozy Wallet, Stylists Aamira Garba, Tiffany Reid, Sophia Gonzalez and Make-up Artists Andrea Dilieto and Tyshon Barnes to make the evening a fun experience.    Continue reading
