The Window Sex Project Empowers Women Harassed On The Street In Harlem

Sydnie L. Mosley Dances is proud to announce its inaugural Harlem community arts and performance initiative, The Window Sex Project. Harlem women ages 18-35 are invited to participate in a FREE workshop ($10 for non-Harlem residents) on a Saturday, 10 am–3pm.  Participants may choose to come on June 25 at the Grosvenor House YMCA, July 16 at Barnard College, or August 20 (location TBA).

Every two months, Picture the Homeless and Interfaith Friends of Potters Field hold a memorial service for those buried on Potters Field, the city cemetery for the indigent and unclaimed. Our next trip is scheduled for Thursday, July 21st, and we’ll be meeting at 8am at the Pelham Bay stop (last stop on the 6 train) to leave for Potters Field. Continue reading
