Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the facade of a number of Harlem storefronts to collapse.

Man stabbed to death in fight following 114th St. Family Day

A man was stabbed to death in a fight following Summer Family Day on 114th St. between FDB and 7th. As usual, no-one saw what happened. The police were there earlier in the day to make sure there were no illegal ring toss games or three-legged races going on – but apparently did not stick around to keep anyone actually safe when the sun went down.
